Location: Las Palapas hotel is located 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Cancun International Airport and 1.5 kilometers (1 mile) north of downtown Playa del Carmen, directly on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mayan Riviera on the Mexican Caribbean. Only a few steps away from the hotel you will find yourself directly on the notorious 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen, famous for its numerous restaurants, bars and small shops of all kinds.
 Rooms: 75 rooms: 7 Beachfront, 48 Standard and 20 Garden Deluxe located in one or two-story bungalows or cabañas. All equipped with 2 queen size beds, ceiling fan, bathroom with shower and hair dryer, safe box, telephone service, and a private veranda or balcony with hammocks and armchairs. The Garden Deluxe rooms have an additional sitting area with a sofa-bed. Most rooms are air conditioned. Mini-bars are available on request. The voltage of our electrical outlets is 110 volts.
 Hotel Facilities: Fresh-water swimming pool, with its own sunbathing area (in service from 7am to 7pm), ample and exotic tropical gardens. Restaurant "Acuario" for breakfast (buffet) and dinner. Meals a la carte are also available. Three times per week buffet dinners are served accompanied by live music. Club house with restaurant for lunch, bar, library, billiards, table games and table tennis. Beach Bar located directly on the beach. At lunch time, the Beach Bar also provides a la carte meals in a casual environment. "Cyan-Ha" Dive Center offering scuba diving (PADI), snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, fishing and windsurfing at an additional cost each. Air conditioned Wellness Center, surrounded by beautiful gardens and water fountains, includes a well-equipped gymnasium (free for hotel guests). Therapeutic massages and other treatments are offered (at an additional cost depending on the treatment).
